Drawing Skills- Improve Your Drawing Skills Today!

ABOUT THIS CLASS: Learn how to draw simple shapes and objects using a variety of drawing techniques.
We will begin with fun line drawing exercises and complete both line and full tonal modeled drawings in class.
This class is for anyone who wants to learn to draw and for those seeking a good, solid drawing refresher class.
Pencil, charcoal, and ink will be used in this fun, informative drawing class.

4 sessions/ Each session meets for 2 hours. (18 years old & up.) ALL SUPPLIES INCLUDED!

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

• How to develop your sensitivities for light, shapes, and space.

• Still-life observational drawing: learn to see like an artist from direct observation and translate that to paper.

• Learn how to draw shapes in pencil, charcoal, ink, and mixed media.

• Learn ways to use line and value to draw objects from nature and from photo references.

• Learn how to incorporate basic 1-pt and 2-pt perspective in your drawings.

Students will be able to use the methods learned in this class on future personal projects.

Saturdays: September 12, 19, 26, and October 3.
Morning section: 8:30-10:30 AM.
